I then decided to experiment with the substance inside the glow stick and see what I could use it for. I first put the orange glow stick in two a plastic bag I think that doing this worked quite well but the amount of liquid inside the glow stick would mean that I would not be feasible to recreate this on a larger scale.
I then dripped the liquid on some polystyrene, I think that this worked better as less is needed to cover a larger area.
Note: I would advise against trying this as I used gloves and safety goggles and inside the glow sticks contains glass and a liquid that can be lethal if ingested.
